Senior Chinese legislator meets with vice-speaker of Japan's House of Representatives
On July 22, Xiao Jie, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, met with a delegation led by Banri Kaieda, vice-speaker of Japan's House of Representatives, in Beijing.
The two sides exchanged views on developing China-Japan relations and strengthening exchanges and cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
