Deputy from Hubei focuses on agriculture

He directed his efforts toward attracting major enterprises to cooperate with the village's aquaculture base and build a comprehensive rural tourism park in the village.

In December 2021, he was elected as the village director.

The great changes in the village also attracted more young villager return from the cities.

More than 80 percent of the village's labor force has chosen to work in the village. In 2021, the per capita annual net income of the village increased to 35,900 yuan ($5,152) from 16,000 yuan 10 years ago.
