Domestic travel portal Trip.com Group recently launched its 2026 Word-of-Mouth Travel Rankings, with the Shapotou Scenic Spot and Desert Diamond Hotel in Zhongwei, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, earning spots.
Shapotou has now been listed on the group's "China's 100 Must-Visit Scenic Spots List" for four consecutive years, while the hotel made the "China's Top 100 Luxury Hotels List in 2026".
