From April 21 to 28, the Iraq Climate Change and Sustainable Agriculture Development Seminar was held in Ningxia Hui autonomous region. The Iraqi delegation, consisting of 34 officials, also conducted research in Ningxia.
The eight-day event aimed to exchange experiences on improving saline-alkali land, efficient water-saving agriculture, facility agriculture, and poverty alleviation.

During the event, activities such as lectures, field visits, discussions, and cultural exchanges were arranged, providing the Iraqi visitors with rich and varied research courses.

The delegation visited numerous local agricultural enterprises in Jinfeng district, Yongning county, Helan county, Lingwu city, and Pingluo county, where they learned about Ningxia's successful experiences in addressing climate change and promoting local sustainable agricultural development.
Through the lectures and on-site research, the participants engaged in in-depth exchanges with local officials, agricultural experts, technicians, and entrepreneurs, gaining a deeper understanding of China's development in the fields of low-carbon agriculture, smart agriculture, and green agriculture technology.

This event has strengthened mutual understanding, trust, and friendship between China and Iraq, providing an important platform for enhancing bilateral agricultural exchange and cooperation.
