Ningxia's goji berries enter harvest season

On June 15, at the Beryl Hongsibu Ecological Organic Goji Planting Base in Ningxia, the first batch of ripe goji berries entered the harvest season.

Every year, the Beryl Hongsibu Ecological Organic Goji Planting Base is the first place in China to welcome the first batch of ripe goji berries. Through 10 years of effort, this land has transformed from a barren sand pit into a golden planting base, contributing to the rise in local income and prosperity.

Hao Miaomiao, the director of the Beryl Brand Culture Communication Center, introduced that they do not use pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, but farmyard fertilizers, during the planting process. At the same time, biological prevention and control technologies have been adopted to control pests, such as using other insects or plants to control destructive pests, in a bid to maintain the ecological balance.

The ripening period of fresh goji berries in Ningxia is from June to October. The first batch of ripe goji berries are usually large in size, have the most nutritional value, and are favored by goji lovers.
