The conference had the theme of "Computing industry in Ningxia leads the future." It was organized by the People's Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is a hybrid conference of online and on site meetings to discuss the construction of computing industry hubs and seek the development of a digital economy.
Fourteen strategic cooperation agreements worth 271 billion yuan (about $40.7 billion) and 24 investment contracts with a value of 72.7 billion yuan have been signed during the conference.

Ningxia signed contracts with China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd., China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited and other groups, focusing on in-depth cooperation in building green, low-carbon and safe data center clusters, high-speed direct-connected network infrastructure, and an integrated computing system. All these are supposed lay the foundation for Ningxia to build a national computing support base.
Ningxia has also signed strategic cooperation agreements with Zhongxing Telecom Equipment, JD Group, Beijing Institute of Big Data Research and other companies to strengthen cooperation in the construction of network security systems, applications of typical scenarios in various fields. The signed agreement will also promote Ningxia’s plan to build a data valley in western China, supporting its development of a digital economy.
Yinchuan has signed contracts with Shanghai Qiyuan Green Power Technology Co., Ltd., Huanghe Supercomputing Center and other companies. The investment contracts involved nine projects. In the future, Yinchuan will implement key projects such as "AI+medical health" digital industry sub fund, data trading, digital water control, and smart city application, which will inject strong impetus for Yinchuan to build a headquarter for digital economy innovation.
Zhongwei has signed contracts with Ningxia Western Cloud Base, Dongfang Huiyuan Quantum and other companies. The 12 projects are mainly located in Zhongwei to build large data centers and a quantum computing center so as to construct a digital economy town, which will promote Zhongwei as a green, low-carbon, and safe data center.
