On Aug 7, Ningxia Yinchuan government signed a cooperation agreement with Ningxia Baofeng Energy and Dongfangman New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. The latter one plans to move to Suyin Industrial Park, which will fill the gap in new energy automobile manufacturing industry of Ningxia.

The relocation project of Dongfangman New Energy Automobile involves a plan to build a new energy automobile overall relocation and whole vehicle production industrial chain that covers a research institute, production and sales. The project is a concrete measure taken by the Yinchuan CPC committee to drive innovation and revitalize industries in the autonomous region.
Li Wenxue, the general manager of Dongfangman New Energy Automobile, said the Suyin Industrial Park will build a modern new energy automobile production base that targets the high-end research and manufacturing of the complete vehicles and core parts. Meanwhile, the base will extend the upstream and downstream industrial chain, and attract more relevant leading enterprises to settle in Ningxia.
According to Dang Yanbao, a spokesman for the Ningxia Baofeng Energy, the signing of the agreement marks the first modern new energy automobile industry base in Ningxia will be settled in Yinchuan. This is an important milestone in realizing the "dream of building cars" for Ningxia people.
This project will introduce the leading technologies and equipment worldwide, and focus on building a new "smart factory" and "green factory". At the same time, Baofeng Energy will cooperate closely with Dongfangman New Energy Automobile in power battery supply, and strive to build an industrial "ecosystem".
