Wu Wei, a member of the Party committee of Ningxia Institute of Science and Technology, is one of the delegates to the 13th Congress of the Communist Party of China in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region.
After attending the Party congress, he said: "We can make efforts in enhancing the strength of basic disciplines, improving the discipline structures, and expanding the discipline scale when higher education promotes the integration of production and education and talent cultivation."
Given the economic, industrial, and social development in Ningxia, he reckons that the number of undergraduate majors in Ningxia's colleges and universities determines how powerful the contribution is to Ningxia's talent cultivation.
At the same time, the synergy between educational development and Ningxia's development should be fostered to cultivate the talents that Ningxia needs. Wu sincerely wishes Ningxia can develop better so is its higher education.
