Ningbo increases frequency of direct flights to Osaka
Spring Airlines has recently announced an expansion in its flight services from Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, to Osaka, Japan, which will go into effect on Oct 27.
The new flight from Ningbo to Osaka, operated by the budget carrier, will be serviced by an Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight schedule is as follows: Flight 9C6603 will depart from Ningbo Lishe International Airport at 4:10 pm and land at Kansai International Airport in Osaka at 7:30 pm local time, while flight 9C6604 will leave Osaka at 5:55 pm local time and touch down in Ningbo at 7:35 pm Beijing time.
The flights will be offered from Oct 27, 2024, to Nov 2, 2024, and from Nov 24, 2024, to March 29, 2025. The approximate duration of a one-way flight on the route is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Currently, one-way ticket prices for Spring Airlines' Ningbo to Osaka flight start at 502 yuan ($70.61), including taxes, while the Osaka to Ningbo flight begins at 571 yuan.
With this update, Spring Airlines will now operate a daily flight on the Ningbo to Osaka route. When combined with China Eastern Airlines' existing flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, the total number of flights on this route departing from Ningbo will increase to a maximum of two flights per day, totaling 10 flights per week and enabling a total of 20 round trips. This development marks the second international route from Ningbo airport to resume with two or more daily flights, following the Bangkok route.
