The 2024 China Roller Skating (Skateboarding) Open kicked off in Ningbo with great fanfare on Aug 17, as athletes from 21 teams across China gathered to showcase their skills.

Over 110 competitors descended upon the city, transforming the event into a thrilling spectacle of athleticism and artistry. From gravity-defying jumps to mesmerizing spins, each intricate skateboarding maneuver illuminated the arena, captivating the audience with its sheer brilliance.

Organized by the Chinese Roller Skate Association, the competition's Ningbo leg is divided into street skateboarding and skate bowl categories for both men and women. Athletes are pitted against each other in divisions such as the adult group, youth group A, youth group B, and children's group, all vying for a total of 26 coveted gold medals.
