It's late spring and peonies have unfurled their delicate petals amidst the lush greenery of the Ningbo Botanical Garden in Ningbo, Zhejiang province.
On April 23, visitors flocked to the garden, eager to admire the more than ten varieties of peony blossoms there.
Peonies are not only aesthetically pleasing but also possess high medicinal value, known for their pain-relieving, antispasmodic, blood-activating, and menstruation-regulating properties. Revered for their beauty and temperament, peonies are often referred to as the "queen of flowers".
