Asian Games-themed patterns, including the emblem and mascots, were recently created in a vast rice field in Ningbo, a co-host city of the sporting event.
Located in Lushansi village, Hemudu town, Yuyao city, these intricate patterns cover an area of approximately 35 mu (2.3 hectares) and were created by cultivating rice of different colors, a process that began in July.
In addition to the detailed patterns, large Chinese characters proclaiming "Let's cheer together for the passionate Asian Games" have been written in the field.
With the rice gradually ripening, the Asian Games mascots will become increasingly clear, with vibrant hues and sharper outlines coming into view. Visitors are encouraged to ascend the nearby viewing platform to get a good view of the crop art and soak in the excitement for the Asian Games.
