Field culture and art season kicks off in Zhenhai

A harvest celebration was held in Tianyangcheng village, Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, on Oct 23, which signals the start of field culture and art season.
At the event, farmers demonstrated the agricultural production process, including driving harvesters and using drones to spray crops.
Various stands displaying local delicacies and produces were set up in the fields, attracting many visitors.
Yang Qianxiong, head of the Zhenhai Jinguoyuan Vegetable and Fruit Professional Cooperative, offered a dozen vegetables and fruits to visitors for free.
"The watermelons I brought here are juicy and sweet," Yang said. "Our corn is pollution-free and can be eaten raw."
During the two-month field culture and art season, a series of art, tourism and folk culture activities will be held.
Tianyangcheng village is located in Jiulonghu town, Zhenhai district, and the district has been making strong efforts to promote rural revitalization. In 2020, the per capita disposable income of rural residents in Zhenhai reached 40,469 yuan ($6,341.26), ranking second among the 10 districts, counties and county-level cities in the city of Ningbo.
