An exhibition showcasing garment making techniques opened at Cicheng Ancient Town in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province on Sept 3, part of an exhibition series featuring the city's intangible cultural heritage.
Visitors have the chance to learn traditional garment making crafts at the exhibition, including homespun cloth weaving, Hongbang tailoring, gold and silver embroidery and Chinese knot button tying techniques.
The exhibition is slated to run until Sept 19, during which various activities will be held in the town such as night tours and concerts, offering a fresh experience for visitors.
The exhibition series was launched in celebration of the 1200-year anniversary of the founding of Ningbo, with three exhibitions showcasing the daily life of locals of all ages being held across the city.
The first exhibition was held in Yangming Ancient Town in Yuyao city in May, attracting more than 60,000 visitors.
