K11 Atelier, a Grade-A office building in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, was recently completed.
The 56-floor tower, which has a height of about 249 meters, broke ground in July 2016 and is located within Sanjiangkou, a commercial block in Ningbo's central urban area.
Its operation is expected to bolster the commercial real estate economy in Baizhang sub-district, and inject new vitality to the city's development, said Ge Huan, Party chief of the Baizhang sub-district in Ningbo’s Yinzhou district.
The building's second to fourth floors will accommodate hotel supporting facilities. Floors 4 to 41 will be occupied by offices, while the Rosewood Hotel will take up Floors 43 to 56.
K11 Atelier is part of the 850,000-square-meter New World Plaza project in Ningbo.
With a total investment of over 15 billion yuan ($2.3 billion), the project will be an urban complex integrating shopping malls, office buildings, high-end residential communities, commercial streets and parks.
The K11 Art Shopping Center and two additional office buildings, which are currently under construction, are expected to be completed by 2024.
There are numerous skyscrapers under construction in Ningbo. One such example is the Evergrande City Light, which is 453.5 meters high. Upon completion, the 88-floor tower will be the tallest building in the city.
