Cixi, Yuyao among top 10 counties in China by industrial internet development
The top 10 counties in China by industrial internet development were unveiled by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology during the Digital China Summit in Fujian on April 26, China News Service reported.
According to the ministry, the average number of established 5G base stations in the top 10 counties is more than 2,000, and the average number of local enterprises on the cloud is over 3,000.
The counties' gross regional domestic product, fueled by industrial internet, grew more than 95 billion yuan ($14.64 billion) in 2020, the ministry said, adding industrial added value exceeded 100 billion yuan on average.
Cixi and Yuyao, two county-level cities in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, ranked 10th and 3rd in the list respectively.
