Cherry blossoms bloom in Xikou

Cherry blossoms will soon enter the best admiration peirod in Cherry Blossom Valley near Dongcun village and Qixiakeng village in Xikou town, Ningbo.

The valley was once little known among the public, but has gained in popularity as a place to enjoy cherry blossoms in recent years. 

It boasts hundreds of cherry trees lining both sides of a winding mountain road and Ximing Bridge against the backdrop of Xufuyan Waterfall.

Only 10-20 percent of cherry flowers in the area begun blooming so far due to the high altitude, while the rest are expected to bloom in around a week.
