PetroChina Jiangsu LNG Terminal in Yangkou Port, Rudong county, Nantong recently held an open day on June 16. More than 60 participants, including company employees, their families, and contractor staff, toured the station to learn about the clean and green characteristics of liquefied natural gas, while enhancing their safety awareness and emergency response capabilities.

The event began with a detailed sand table presentation showcasing the layout, process flow, and safety measures of the station. This introduction provided participants with a basic understanding of the LNG terminal. A series of engaging and informative LNG experiments demonstrated the low-temperature characteristics of LNG and its safety during storage, sparking interest and confidence in natural gas among the attendees.

During their visit to the control room, participants were impressed by the extensive use of modern technology in the management of the gas facility. Many expressed their admiration for the company's efficient management and professional capabilities.

The event also featured hands-on activities, including fire hose operations, fire extinguisher usage, and emergency evacuation drills.
