Care initiative for migrant children held at Yangkou Port

A third of the registered population in the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone is emigrants, which is why the zone decided to launch a care initiative for migrant children on April 2.
During the launch ceremony, a volunteer service team and young government officials gave gifts to the children, including school bags, sports shoes, and books.
Liu Jing, an official in the development zone, said that in recent years, the area has introduced preferential policies and measures to safeguard the rights of migrant workers, improve their employment environment, and promote the healthy growth of their children. The care event marks a new starting point for migrant workers in the area, and the area will continue making efforts to improve the lives of their children.
