Founded in December 2017, Gold Hongye Paper (Nantong) Co Ltd is located in the Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone, Nantong, Jiangsu province, specializing in the production and sale of tissue paper products.

With an investment of 221.29 million yuan ($30.75 million), the facility underwent intelligent transformation, leveraging advanced technologies such as 5G and cloud computing and introducing world-class automation systems and equipment.

According to Lin Weizhu, deputy general manager of the company, "We have achieved full-process automated tracking, from material transportation into the factory to production, and finished product transportation out of the factory." The implementation of various technologies has not only increased production efficiency and quality but also enhanced the workshop's environmental friendliness and safety.

For example, the electricity consumption per metric ton of paper has decreased from 1,100 kilowatt hours to nearly 500 kWh, while the number of employees has decreased from 8,000 to 2,000. Every six minutes, a truck transports products from the base to various locations worldwide.

With a total area of 1,700 hectares and 45 billion yuan in investment, Gold Hongye's Yangkou Port production base is being constructed in three phases, ultimately forming a production capacity of 3.96 million tons annually. The first phase is now one of the largest household paper production bases in China and even Asia, and the conditions for the construction of the second phase have also been met. Additionally, the group plans to invest 15 billion yuan in new projects to improve the industrial chain.
