Remarkably, all the electricity for the entire event was supplied by the industrial and commercial integrated energy storage system from Nantong Gotion New Energy Technology, a company based in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ).
The event venue was located near an elevated highway, urban areas, and the canal, with no direct access to the power grid, making electricity connection once a significant challenge.
Faced with the dilemma, Gotion New Energy stepped in with an innovative solution. The company provided a "super power bank" free of charge. This compact device, about the size of a four-door refrigerator, required no fuel and could be easily transported to the site.

"This is a self-developed energy storage product capable of storing 211 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, which is exported to countries like Switzerland and Austria," said Xu Xin, a researcher at the company.
He said the company has now launched a new generation of products with increased storage capacity of 261 kWh. Some of these products also support photovoltaic charging, enabling simultaneous charging and use with enhanced endurance.
