Tongzhou to open new sports center
The Starry Sports Center in Tongzhou district, Nantong, recently began trial operations and will be officially put into use on Oct 18.

The center covers an area of approximately 8,000 square meters. The indoor sports area of 3,500 sq m houses 10 badminton courts and four basketball courts, while the outdoor is equipped with a tennis court with a retractable roof, a five-a-side football pitch, as well as a variety of facilities including table tennis tables and fitness equipment.
"I'm a big fan of basketball. After my friends told me about this new sports center, I started to come regularly. The venue is spacious, the environment is great, and all the facilities are highly professional," said Chen Gong, a basketball enthusiast.
The center has also specially designated four badminton courts and a basketball court as public-welfare venues for enterprises, which will be open to the public free of charge. "We will offer more opening promotions to the residents of Tongzhou, making this comprehensive sports venue a fantastic destination for fitness and leisure," said Ji Feiyu in charge of the center.
