NHIZ drives project progress and industrial innovation
The project advancement task force of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) recently conducted an on-site inspection of a Sutong Separation Technology Co project to coordinate progress updates and ensure the project's timely completion.
With a total investment of 500 million yuan ($69.03 million), the project focuses on the manufacture of chemical reaction and separation equipment and is expected to generate 600 million yuan in annual sales revenue. Upon completion, it will pioneer solutions for specialized environmental protection markets, including carbon capture and ship exhaust treatment.
NHIZ has taken the lead in high-level openness, proactively driving development through coordinated efforts to achieve bidirectional enhancement of innovation density and industrial strength.
In 2024, the zone saw the emergence of 22 new industrial enterprises above designated size, certified 66 high-tech enterprises, and saw high-tech industries account for 74.5 percent of its total industrial output. Furthermore, it was ranked among China's top 50 national high-tech zones by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
