Service improvements boost project construction

The construction of key investment projects in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Zone has been accelerated due to optimized government services.
A streamlined approval process, for example, has allowed enterprises in the zone to start construction immediately after winning the bid for the land.
In addition, the zone has been providing enterprises with customized services.
For example, the authorities had offered AlphaESS Co Ltd online guidance related to the audits of construction drawings, and this saved the company much time and effort, according to Zhang Xinyang, president of the company.
In the first half of this year, 13 major industrial projects with a total investment of 4.12 billion yuan ($596.81 million) broke ground in the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Zone, official statistics show.
The zone has set the goal of bringing in 60 science and technology projects this year.
