A 63,500-deadweight-ton bulk carrier, GH Pride, built by Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering in Changjiang town, Rugao, was officially delivered and set sail on Jan 14.
The GH Pride represents a benchmark vessel type in today's international bulk carrier market, known for its efficiency and broad market acceptance. In recent years, Haitong has secured more than 40 orders for this type of vessel, serving both domestic and international shipping companies, including well-known operators such as Fujian Guohang Ocean Shipping.
The latest delivery further strengthens the company's leading position in its niche market and reflects growing global confidence in ships built in China.
Haitong currently has an order book of 60 vessels, totaling 3.39 million deadweight metric tons, with its construction schedule extending through 2029. The robust pipeline underscores the company's competitiveness and the strong demand for high-quality marine engineering equipment.
In 2026, the company plans to deliver 19 vessels of various types, with total completed tonnage expected to exceed 1.1 million deadweight tons. Annual sales are projected to reach 3.5 billion yuan ($502.11 million).
