The Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission has released the lists of major projects and key industrial projects for private investment in the province for 2026, including nine projects in Rudong, Nantong.

Seven projects from Rudong have been listed provincial major projects. They are the China General Nuclear Power Corporation R9 Wind and Solar Co-Located Offshore Photovoltaic Project, the Nantong 1.45 Million-Kilowatt Offshore Wind Power Project, the PetroChina LNG Storage Tank Expansion Project, Guoxin Rudong LNG Receiving Station Project, Nantong Polar and Extreme Environment Simulation Experimental Facility Project, the GCL Huidong LNG Terminal Phase II Project, and the Nantong Onshore Wind Power Upgrading and transformation Project.

In addition, the Rudong Evolving Silicon Biobased Nano-Silica Project and the Yada Green Energy Ship and Marine Equipment Project have been listed as this year's provincial key industrial projects for private investment.

This year marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30). Rudong will continue to ramp up promoting and servicing project construction, facilitating the commencement, completion, and operation of major projects.

It aims to facilitate the implementation of over 60 major industrial projects worth more than 100 million yuan ($14.35 million) each, complete the construction of 30 new industrial projects worth more than 100 million yuan each, and transform 20 projects into operational ones.
