At View Electronic in Jiuhua town, Rugao, a new high-refresh-rate quantum-dot TV rolls off the production line every 40 seconds. Trucks loaded with finished products leave the factory one after another, heading for destinations thousands of kilometers away in the Middle East.
In Riyadh, the busy capital of Saudi Arabia, a major electronics store features KMC — a Chinese brand attracting significant attention from local shoppers. KMC, developed by View Electronic, now ranks among the top three TV brands in Saudi Arabia and exported 370 million yuan ($52.32 million) in the past year.
"From receiving an order to placing products on store shelves, the entire process takes just one month, aside from shipping time," said Cui Lu, general manager of the company. "Despite the distance, our production lines and markets are tightly connected, allowing us to respond quickly to demand changes."
Five years ago, the company mainly focused on the Middle East. Now, its business has expanded to include Morocco, Algeria, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. "Our next goal," Cui said, "is to make Central Asia a second growth engine after the Middle East."
