Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce recently released three key lists highlighting the province's economic vitality and focus on innovation. These include the 2025 list of Jiangsu top 100 private companies, the ranking of Jiangsu top 100 manufacturing companies, and Jiangsu top 100 private companies in R&D investment. 

Twenty-three enterprises from Nantong made it to the list of the top 100 private companies and five companies from Chongchuan district were included — Nantong Chemical & Light Industry Co, Nantong Construction Group Co, Tongfu Microelectronics Co, Nantong Huarong Construction Group Co, and Jiangsu Wenfeng Group Co. Additionally, Tongfu Microelectronics Co was also listed in the other two lists. 

The selection criteria for the 2025 Jiangsu top 100 private companies list were primarily based on the operating revenue recorded for the year 2024. The total operating revenue of the 23 Nantong enterprises that made the list reached 676.5 billion yuan ($95 billion), with total assets amounting to 312.9 billion yuan and total exports of 23.1 billion yuan, underscoring their growing role in international trade.
