During the just-concluded National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Rudong hosted the "Golden Autumn October" Seafood Carnival and Double Festival Promotion Event at Sanhe Liu'an Seafood Street.

Using fresh seafood as the central theme, the event integrated food, music, competitions, technology, and consumption, drawing more than 60,000 participants and achieving total sales exceeding 14 million yuan ($1.96 million).

Fifteen seafood booths featured a variety of flavors, including fish, crabs, shrimp, and shellfish. To add to the excitement, eight families took part in a cooking competition, showing off their culinary talents.

Hot songs, drama performances, recitation competitions, soccer match broadcasts, and other activities allowed people of all ages to experience their own joy.

The addition of technological features like VR experiences and robot interactions also brought a sense of modernity and fun to food festivals.
