Journey Through the World of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Travel in Time, two animated works from Chongchuan district, Nantong, were selected as part of the national outstanding cartoons for 2024 by the National Radio and Television Administration on Sept 15. 

These two works are the only award-winning entries from Jiangsu province in this selection, emphasizing Chongchuan and Nantong's expertise in animation production and cultural sharing. 

Journey Through the World of Traditional Chinese Medicine, created by Nantong Tiantai Animation Design Co, introduces young audiences to the rich history and unique charm of Traditional Chinese Medicine through engaging animation. 

As a flagship work representing the "Chinese culture going global" initiative, the series debuted at the China Joint Pavilion during France's Annecy International Animation Film Festival and also at the Jiangsu International Services Trade Exhibition in Malaysia in 2024. 

The other award-winning work, Travel in Time, is just as engaging. It follows three middle school students on their metaverse adventures, taking viewers through different periods in time. Using exciting storytelling, it highlights Chinese civilization, honors craftsmanship, and vividly depicts the country's ecological development.
