The Suchnear Bedding Cultural Museum, a thematic museum founded by Suchnear Home Textiles Co, has recently opened at Dieshiqiao International Home Textile City in Haimen district — the core area of Nantong's home textiles industry.

Covering nearly 2,000 square meters, the museum is split into the cultural hall and the product hall two main exhibition areas.

The cultural hall consists of four designated zones: a cultural zone, a craft zone, a science education zone, and an interactive zone. Meanwhile, the product hall includes 38 bedding experience scenarios, providing immersive bedroom displays and opportunities for visitors to try the products.

The cultural zone offers detailed exhibits on the composition and development of ancient Chinese bedding, along with the changes in Nantong's bedding industry. It provides a comprehensive overview of China's bedding culture, products, and industry from ancient times to today.

The craft zone features nearly a hundred varieties of bedding materials, including natural options like linen, pure cotton, and synthetic materials such as polypropylene cotton and polyester fiber. Traditional looms and vintage sewing machines provide a vivid glimpse into China's textile craftsmanship.

Suchnear Home Textiles, a well-known brand in Nantong's home textile industry and a member of the China Home Textile Industry Association, was recognized as Jiangsu Industry Famous Brand in 2024.

Shen Jun, general manager of the company, said: "As members of Nantong's home textile sector, we bear the responsibility to demonstrate the blend of Nantong's rich home textile heritage and modern innovations. Through this cultural museum, we strive to emphasize Nantong's home textile culture and promote the industry's quicker and improved growth."
