The Jiangsu provincial authority recently unveiled a list of 50 nighttime consumption areas across the province, with four located in Nantong.

The listed commercial areas include Rudong Forte Riverside Impression, Rugao Shijinli Commercial Block and Nantong Longxin Plaza Block.

At Rudong Forte Riverside Impression, visitors can wander along 1,000-year-old ancient stone streets, experiencing the genuine warmth and hospitality of the Rudong people. Unique shops line the streets, offering a diverse array of local specialty products. Those in need of a break can step into a traditional teahouse for a cup of hot, fragrant tea, or find solace in the midnight bookstore nestled within a coffee shop. Under the warm glow of yellow lights, enjoy a harmonious blend of books and coffee aromas. The tranquil and quaint alleys are a perfect place to unwind.

Rugao Shijinli Commercial Block maintains the gentle charm of the ancient city while embracing modern design elements. Connected to a 1-kilometer waterfront cherry blossom trail, the block aspires to become one of the province's leading cultural and tourism destinations. This year, it has hosted a variety of events, including Chinese-style fairs, cultural markets, and puppet shows, which have significantly increased foot traffic.

As night descends, hop on the small train that travels through the entire Nantong Longxin Plaza Block. Along the route, you'll pass by bars, coffee shops, cultural and creative stores, restaurants, and shops offering cultural experiences. With over 100 trendy brands, the block seamlessly integrates natural landscapes, cultural architecture, and diverse cultural experiences.
