The first Nantong Cultural and Creative Design Competition is slated to commence in June this year, local media reported on May 27.
The competition's primary objective is to delve into Nantong's distinctive cultural reservoirs, serving as a wellspring of creativity for cultural and creative design. By urging participants to draw inspiration from Nantong's unique cultural facets, the competition advocates for forward-thinking, pragmatic, and market-driven designs to propel the advancement of Nantong's cultural and creative industries.
Participants are welcome to submit entries involving cultural and creative products, art and craft designs influenced by Nantong's cultural heritage, city logos, and promotional posters reflecting local culture and popular attractions, as well as designs for local culture-themed establishments like restaurants, homestays, exhibitions, and other cultural venues.
Design agencies, individual designers, enterprises, and other interested entities keen on taking part in the competition can submit their designs, entry forms, and authorization certificates to NTwenchuang01@163.com before the end of September.
A total of 34 winners will be selected, with the top prize amounting to 6,000 yuan ($833.84) per winner.
