The eighth Dongzhou Talent Entrepreneurship Week commenced in Haimen on May 25, extending an invitation to global talent to contribute to the city's development.

During the event, the district awarded project funding to 10 leading entrepreneurs, showcased 20 high-level talent projects, and unveiled the ‌Haimen-Hong Kong International Talent Station‌ and ‌Hong Kong Young Scientists Association Talent (Project) Haimen Conversion Base.

The event will also feature the fourth Nantong Jianghai Talent Innovation Competition, youth recruitment fairs, and green shipbuilding project roadshows, aiming to integrate talent, technology, capital, and industrial resources.

Haimen has led in innovation and entrepreneurship talent selections for seven consecutive years and has led Nantong in national-level talent projects since 2021. It remains the only talent development modernization pilot in Jiangsu province.

Haimen now has a thriving innovation ecosystem with 169 national-level experts, 131 provincial innovation and entrepreneurship talents, and 18 provincial innovation and entrepreneurship teams.
