Named for its butterfly-like appearance, the moth orchid symbolizes "happiness arriving" and embodies concepts such as beauty, elegance, good fortune, and prosperity. These orchids are widely regarded as essential elements in both home decor and garden landscaping projects.
In recent years, the city of Rugao has actively promoted the cultivation of specialty flowers among local farmers. This initiative is part of a strategy to foster a "beautiful economy", which not only boosts agricultural development but also increases farmers' incomes and contributes to the vitalization of rural communities.
