Digital management project in Haimen enhances agricultural services
Testing is currently underway at the digital management project at the Zhenyu town Agricultural Service Center in Haimen district, Nantong, Jiangsu province.
With a total investment of 26 million yuan ($3.58 million), this project aims to elevate the level of agricultural and rural work by providing scientific support and convenient services for farmers. As of now, the project has completed 80 percent of the total engineering work.
The hardware equipment for the project is mostly installed, and the detailed architectural design of the big data platform has been completed, with various module functions currently under development.
In 2023, Haimen was selected as a national pilot area for comprehensive rural reform. The digital management project in Zhenyu is a crucial component of the national rural comprehensive reform pilot program. It is divided into four major modules: big data related to agriculture, farmers and rural areas, smart agricultural industry demonstration park management, modern village governance, and intelligent rural environment monitoring.
The implementation of digital management will facilitate a deep integration of digital technology with various aspects of agricultural and rural development. Once the project is completed, Zhenyu town will leverage digital means to empower rural development, promoting the comprehensive vitalization of digital rural areas.
