Jiangsu Old Tailor Home Textiles, located near the Nantong Home Textile City, the largest home textile production base and trading center in China, has ventured into industrial tourism to promote its brand culture.

Established in 2005, Old Tailor Home Textiles is a company that integrates research, production, sales, and training. With 100,000 square meters of industrial park space, the company offers a wide range of products including home textiles, household items, mattresses, and curtains.

In recent years, the company has been actively developing the integration of industry and tourism to showcase its manufacturing processes and quality control measures. Visitors can tour the factory, experience production firsthand, and gain insights into the meticulous material selection and crafting techniques that ensure top-notch product quality.

According to the company's chairman, Yu Xiaobo, "Visitors touring our workshops serve as a form of supervision for us. It's like an open kitchen, allowing everyone to experience our products up close and helping us enhance our quality."

This year, Old Tailor Home Textiles is taking another leap by investing 500 million yuan ($66.87 million) to establish the Guotong Smart Home project. This initiative aims to create an omnichannel home furnishing consumer experience center by acquiring advanced equipment such as high-speed computerized shuttle-less multi-needle sewing machines, high-speed bagged spring production machines, and intelligent storage systems.

The project will combine experiential showcases, sales, training, and online services, offering customers an immersive consumption experience with the ability to access services both online and offline. Once completed, the project is expected to produce 500,000 units of smart home products annually.
