Rugao scientist elected as fellow of Royal Academy of Sciences New Zealand

Zhuang Xiaowei, a biophysicist hailing from Rugao, has been elected as a fellow of the Royal Academy of Sciences New Zealand.
Zhuang is acclaimed for her pioneering research in the development and application of single-molecule biology and bioimaging technologies.
Zhuang started her higher-education journey at the University of Science and Technology of China before continuing her studies at the University of California, Berkeley, in the United States. She then embarked on her professional career at Harvard University, where she established a lab named after herself focusing on single-molecule biophysics.
