Tongzhou district in Nantong, Jiangsu province announced a set of 10 measures aimed at assisting businesses in maintaining stable production during the upcoming Chinese New Year.

The measures encourage businesses with full order books to establish reasonable production plans for the holiday period and allow them to adjust production and operational activities based on actual circumstances.

Additionally, the measures outline incentive policies for enterprises making outstanding contributions in the first quarter of 2024. For instance, the above-designated-size enterprises with a year-on-year sales growth of over 20 percent in the first quarter will receive tiered rewards based on sales increases, with a bonus of 5,000 yuan ($695) for every additional 10 million yuan in sales growth exceeding 100 million yuan.

The district has also allocated a special fund of 700,000 yuan and 3,120 winter gift packages to express gratitude to out-of-town workers and individuals engaged in new forms of employment who will be working on the front lines during the holiday.
