Rudong county in Jiangsu province has been actively advancing innovative development to foster its high-quality growth.

Nantong Changed New Material Co Ltd, based in the Rudong Economic Development Zone, is a global pioneer in quantum dot functional panels and the only enterprise in the world to achieve large-scale production of such panels.

The company's flagship quantum dot functional panels entered mass production in 2021, and the company is a major supplier to top-tier brands like TCL, Hisense, and Skyworth. It has held the first position in both global and domestic market share for two consecutive years.

In 2023, the enterprise was honored with the titles of national "little giant" enterprise and potential unicorn enterprise in Jiangsu.

To encourage the development of similar projects in Rudong, the county will actively promote the introduction of high-tech innovation projects this year.

"This year, we will focus on Rudong's industrial advantages, targeting countries such as Japan, South Korea, and the United States. We will step up efforts to attract leading foreign investment projects, especially from Fortune Global 500 companies and foreign enterprises establishing manufacturing bases, emphasizing the attraction of high-quality projects," said Feng Jian, director of the Rudong county bureau of commerce.
