Rudong and Envision Group unite on green energy innovation
In a significant step towards establishing a national-level green energy demonstration city, Rudong signed a framework agreement with Envision Group, a Chinese multinational corporation headquartered in Shanghai that provides wind turbines and energy management software, on Nov 6. The signing ceremony, hosted by Chen Lei, deputy secretary of the county's Party committee, and Tian Qingjun, senior vice president of Far Envision Group, solidified the foundation for this ambitious endeavor.

Chen extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Envision, highlighting the longstanding collaboration between the two sides as he emphasized the significance of the agreement.

The collaboration project, situated in Yangkou town, aims to synergize the high-end equipment manufacturing and wind power industries, propelling green development. With a total investment of approximately one billion yuan ($137.34 million), the two-phase project is set to commence construction by the end of this year and is expected to achieve an annual output value of about two billion yuan in its first phase.
Tian expressed optimism about Rudong's abundant wind resources and the potential for the project to contribute to the comprehensive upgrade of the green industry.
