The 33rd Nantong Chrysanthemum Exhibition opened on Nov 1 at the Nantong Botanical Garden and will run for a month.

The exhibition features outdoor landscapes, a chrysanthemum exhibition, a flower arrangement art exhibition, a bonsai exhibition and a chrysanthemum market fair.

A total of 13 units are taking part in the exhibition.

The Tongzhou exhibition area won the gold award for the outdoor landscape art exhibition of the chrysanthemum exhibition. It covered about 360 square meters and featured more than 20,000 pots of chrysanthemums in over 50 varieties.

"This is our fifth gold award in a row, which means we won first place," said Zhang Yiming, a staff member of the Tongzhou garden center.
