Haimen district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has a presence at the ongoing Asian Games in Hangzhou due to the contributions of one of its companies.

Zenith Steel Group Nantong Co was among the parties involved in the construction of the main venue, the Asian Games Village, and supporting facilities for the sporting gala.

Xu Jiajun, assistant to the sales manager of Zenith, said that his company provided over 200,000 metric tons of high-intensity, high-quality construction steel for the green, low-carbon Games stadiums.

Xu added that workers worked round the clock to meet the steel production needs of the Asian Games, ensuring the timely completion of various venues.
