Tongzhou district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has been pursuing intelligent reconstruction and digitalization transformation in the manufacturing sector in recent years.

To date, the district has executed 508 projects related to intelligent reconstruction and digitalization transformation, achieving a transformation rate of 53.3 percent.

In support of local enterprises' efforts to undergo intelligent and digitalization transformation, Tongzhou has been offering continuous free diagnostic services. This initiative includes providing tailored transformation plans to 200 enterprises in need of assistance.

Additionally, the district has organized various activities such as business coaching, matchmaking services, and study tours to nurture and develop skilled talent in this respect.

In 2022, the district's finances allocated over 13 million yuan ($1.78 million) in support funds for enterprise transformation.

During the first half of this year, the Tongzhou development and reform commission established a policy promotion team and conducted seven focused policy briefings. These efforts, combined with online policy explanations, have enabled a greater number of businesses to become aware of, familiarize themselves with, and benefit from the relevant policies.
