Hai'an, a county-level city in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has been taking measures since July to enrich its night life.

The local government has already organized various activities, including charity night markets, night market recruitments, and urban night schools.

Since the launch of a night market recruitment campaign in the county, a total of 33 companies have participated and provided more than 400 jobs, effectively solving the employment difficulties for surrounding residents.

What's more, the urban library in Hai'an High-tech Zone is now open in the evening.

In an effort to provide residents with more cultural experiences, the library has organized various cultural events such as art exhibitions and cultural salons.

In addition, the community activity stations in the county have extended their opening hours, allowing residents to read books, watch movies, and play chess and cards with their neighbors after sunset.
