The first phase of the Jian'gong Lake Ecological Park in the Haimen Economic and Technological Development Zone opened to the public in August 2022.

With a planned area of 2,730 mu (182 hectares), the first phase of the park has received a combined investment of about 270 million yuan ($37.88 million) and includes facilities for camping, resting, boating, dining, entertainment, and weddings.

The park's campground covers an area of 6,000 square meters and is an ideal place for birthday parties, teambuilding, and family activities. It offers great campsites, which provide afternoon tea, outdoor barbecues, campfire parties, outdoor movies and karaoke.

The park's three RVs are great for couples or families of three looking to spend a weekend or holiday there.

The children's playground covers an area of about 2,000 sq m and includes recreational facilities such as off-road go-karting, trampolines, and a shooting gallery.

Visitors can also take a boat tour of Jian'gong Lake, buy snacks at mobile dining vehicles, and relax while eating dim sum or drinking coffee or other beverages at Hupan Station.
