Authorities of Haimen district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, launched an action plan to improve its business environment on March 13.

According to the action plan, Haimen will implement 70 measures related to policies, markets, law regulations, and government services to strengthen confidence of market entities.

The measures are aimed at improving government services in terms of enhancing protection of intellectual property rights and creating a fair and competitive environment.

Authorities have established a series of working mechanisms, including clarifying responsibilities and duties of related agencies, as well as establishing evaluation systems, to make sure the measures are implemented properly.
