Tongzhou district in Nantong, East China’s Jiangsu province has been making efforts to boost project construction by improving services in recent years. 

Designating principal consultants for projects is one of the measures taken by authorities to improve the efficiency of project construction. 

Located in Qijiaqiao village in Xinren town, Nantong Lifuxin New Material Technology Co Ltd is one of the enterprises that have benefited from this. The enterprise is planning to build a 102-million-yuan ($14.64 million) factory that spans 22.5 mu (1.5 hectares). 

“The consultant has given priority to reviewing and approving our project materials and this has greatly saved time and costs,” said Xue Chunhong, financial director of the company. 

To date, 20 projects in Tongzhou have enjoyed the professional services provided by principal consultants. 

In addition, authorities have also set up a dedicated window for enterprises in the Tongzhou Government Affairs Service Center. Through this window, applicants can complete all procedures within one hour. 

The Tongzhou Real Estate Transaction Registration Office has also launched an application through which the applicant can register for a mortgage and apply for a loan. 

 The office has handled 1,642 mortgage registrations through the app and helped enterprises apply for loans worth 24.8 billion yuan so far this year.
