The 2022 "Fresh Haimen" Agricultural Product Fair and fourth Haimen Jianghai Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off on Nov 15 in Yisheng village, Changle town, Haimen district, Nantong.

The public brand "Fresh Haimen" for Haimen's agriculture products includes various local specialties such as goats and taros.

During the event, key activities of the fourth Jianghai Cultural Tourism Festival, six boutique tour routes and 13 high-quality agricultural and cultural tourism projects were released.

The development of characteristic villages has led to a booming rural tourism industry in Haimen.

One village was named a national key village for rural tourism, while three villages were named provincial key villages for rural tourism.

In June, Haimen was recognized as part of the fifth batch of "provincial all-regional tourism demonstration areas" by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Changle town was identified as a national key town of rural tourism by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Meanwhile, three scenic spots in Haimen have been designated national 3A-level tourist attractions.
