The East China headquarters of Guangdong Lyric Robot Automation Co Ltd will be established in the Nantong High-tech Zone, East China's Jiangsu province, according to the signing ceremony held on Nov 7, local media reported.

Guangdong Lyric Robot Automation Co Ltd is a leading listed enterprise in the lithium-ion equipment industry.

To date, the company has participated in setting more than ten national standards and industrial standards for lithium-ion equipment.

Lyric's East China headquarters will be constructed in two phases. The first phase will cover about 150 mu (10 hectares) of land and is expected to start construction in the first quarter in 2023.

The taxable sales turnover of the first phase project is expected to reach 1.5 billion yuan ($206.8 million) after reaching its intended capacity.

The headquarters is meant to boost the industrial development of the zone and makes Tongzhou district a major driver of Nantong's high-quality development.
